The overall aim is to raise as much money as possible through various sporting events, and to try and unite fans from all clubs and sports into supporting such a great cause

I don't care if you support Newcastle United, Ipswich Town, Liverpool, Manchester United, Sunderland, Hereford,or any other club
Yes we all have rivalries, but we all have one thing in common, admiration for Sir Bobby Robson. This man has giving his all for football.
Even now, when he should be taking life easy (and lets face it he deserves it) he is not, he is on another crusade to raise as much money as possible for a cause very close to home, cancer research.
So lets as a football community unite and stand as one, to get a Sir Bobby Robson Charity Match started, to honour one of the true gents and legends of the game.
I would be grateful if you could send this message out to every football fan possible and get them to unite with us, and maybe together we can honour this great man in a way befitting how he has entertained us for decades. Sign the petition, mail your friends, talk about it in the pub and please post the details on every football forum you can think of.
